Happy Halloween!

It's that scary time of year again...

According to many scholars, Halloween's a Christian celebration based on an ancient Irish festival where scary masks and costumes were worn to trick and scare demons away from the harvest feast. These days we know it for fun activities such as trick-or-treating, costume parties, carving pumpkins and telling scary stories to entertain kids and adults all around the world.

We just think it's a great excuse to dress up and have fun meeting new people!

We thank you for your support,
The NZDating team.

"Its now been a year of dating a wonderful man whom I met on NZD. Although very different, we are similar in the most important ways and I feel so incredibly blessed that we happened to meet."

Member Tip: preventing unwanted approaches

NZDating.com believes in allowing members more freedom, however this also includes freedom to choose the types of messages and photos they want (or do NOT want) to recieve.

Accordingly we offer various blocking features and reporting tools - For example members not interested in any form of explicit or erotic content should block members seeking sex. Accordingly, members with adverts not specifically seeking 'Sexual Meetings' are not permitted to send such messages to members outside that category.

Top tips for preventing inappropriate messages
  1. Ensure you correctly enter what you are seeking from NZDating
  2. Ensure you correctly enter what you are NOT seeking using blocking rules
  3. Report all offensive messages immediately - this also helps protect others from receiving such messages
  4. Set your filters to block adult related photos and content
  5. Don't share contact details or communicate outside of NZDating
  6. Don't use suggestive or adult themed photos or language within your advert
If you do recieve an unsolicited inapppropriate explicit message, use the reporting tools to help prevent any further problems.

Members sending explicit messages

To help combat inappropriate messages our systems take automatic action against those stating they're seeking 'Friendships' or 'Relationships' who then send explicit messages by correcting their advert to include sexual meetings to allow members to automatically block further messages.

Please ensure you have correctly entered your reasons for being on NZDating:
